Not a proper fix yet but at least it prevents the hang and gives some
feedback.

- Simplified code to warn about header exclusion; use Path::isHeader() instead of custom header filename detection

...
This patch makes the (reasonable) assumption that the total size of all checked
files fits in a 'long' type.
