1.2 KiB

cppcheck

This is the port of cppcheck 2.8 to AmigaOS 4.

Cppcheck is a static analysis tool for C/C++ code. It provides unique code analysis to detect bugs and focuses on detecting undefined behaviour and dangerous coding constructs. The goal is to have very few false positives. Cppcheck is designed to be able to analyze your C/C++ code even if it has non-standard syntax (common in embedded projects).

Installation

Extract the archive wherever you want and start using it. You might want to add its folder at your system PATH, so that it can be accessed by anywhere. Make sure that all the files that are contained in this archive are available where you have the executable.

The simplest way to use it is by running it in a shell like

cppcheck Work:program/src

Please, read the manual on different ways to use it. There are many different options to make it work better and faster for you.
